Things that make me not want to buy something...

I was recently scouring the internet for a navy blue pencil skirt, as I am in need of one desperately and I came across something that made me hesitate in purchasing an inexpensive one I found on yesstyle.com. If you are unfamiliar with this site, it is an online Asian clothing retailer that sells a vast variety of clothing. I have never made a purchase from this site but the styles seem different than the ones in the state and are also for people on a low budget such as myself. So what could possibly make me not want to buy the perfectly cute navy blue pencil skirt that I found??? Notice the picture below...

Perfectly normal, right?

Wrong!! Check out the nasty scab on her leg!

Why wouldn't they edit that out? It makes me feel like she's being abused somewhere or like she fell and they didn't have enough money for some Neosporin and some Maybelline coverup foundation. Is she even being paid?? Can she afford to buy cheap drugstore makeup? It even looks infected and/or ashy.

There is alot to be said about the power of a good advertisement. There is also alot to be said about a bad one. This completely make me click the little red circle on the upper left hand corner of my window. What do you readers think? Am I making a big deal? or Do you appreciate the effort put into a good ad campaign? Do things like this sway your purchasing decisions? Let me know in the comments below.
